Yeh, can’t wait to be kneecapped by some asshole sitting in front of me when they recline. These seats cramped as hell.
![]() 05/22/2018 at 12:19 |

In this case, I’d call it a sloooooooow plane.

Socialist cucks: Lets make a plane that can exempt ETOPS ratings to compete with the 747!

Oh God I hate that.... This dude in front of me when I was going to Chicago decided to push back his seat until I became a human-chair sandwich. I proceeded to kick his chair like a child.

I mean, I get the right to recline, but don’t do it all of a sudden, roll into it, don’t just drop the seat like a bad DJ drops the bass.

You will be a Mexican sardine for the next 10 hours.

All that is true, and I’m still not a huge fan of Airbus, but I was excited to get this shot of an A340 at DFW last November. It’s the first time I’d ever seen one.

Welp. A Mexican sardine amongst Spanish sardines.
I’ll be marinated in sweat once I deplane

Um....
![]() 05/22/2018 at 12:41 |

Oh that’s one of the older ones, this is a 346; for the airlines that should’ve boughten a 777 but their company is a european flagcarrier.

Fun planes land here, Lufthansa cargo runs an MD-11, Luxcargo runs a 748, Lufthansa runs a b748 and a 777 too, Airfrance runs an a380, KLM a 744, Iberia runs a 343 and a 346 (even though it’s misslabeled as the 345) and the Mexican Federal Police use 727s as prisoner transport aircraft. Interjet has some Sukhoi superjets and Magnicharters run the
really old
737.

Magnicharters run the really old 737.
You mean like Cubana?
![]() 05/22/2018 at 12:57 |
|
No, Cubana
leases
really old 737 from a Mexican shell company in Guadalajara.
I don’t know the name of the company but I suspect it’s called CagniMharters.
![]() 05/22/2018 at 13:01 |

Well, right, but that was a Really Old 737™ that crashed in Cuba. Not that Really Old 737s™ are inherently dangerous, but they do need a lot of TLC.

Well, its taco night every Tuesday in MagniCharters, they also have an office secrete santa, but nothing in the name of C checks im afraid.

You need them in an A340 - just don’t take that aircraft on a westbound trans-Atlantic flight.

Yeah, I’d much rather fly Aeromexico and their “let er rip” attitude to cruise speed, but their attitude towards being very expensive is not that good
![]() 05/22/2018 at 13:24 |
|
Ha! I miss those days on US domestic airlines- especially when the 727 was still flying.
Got a little taste of that on Aerolineas Argentinas a few years ago, it was nice!

Last time I flew aeromexico the indicated speed (riding the Gulfstream I must admit) was 1050km/h! Here I’ll be lucky to see anything above 850
